You can make simple gingerbread houses, decorate them with colored royal icing and either give them away or decorate an amazing christmas cake. The basic gingerbread recipe can be found almost anywhere on line.Mine is written actually. Then prepare the royal icing. I use egg whites pasteurized in a bottle bought from the supermarket.
